WATLINGTON Parish Council is seeking a new member.

People who are interested in becoming a councillor should send in an A4 sheet of paper about themselves and what they would bring to the council by noon on May 8.

Nominees will then be asked to attend the next full council meeting on May 14 where they will be given a couple of minutes to speak about themselves. This will be followed by a question and answer session.

The vacancy has arisen after Roger Beattie stepped down from the council after 14 years.
