Maidenhead ran in more than 40 points for the second time this season as David Mobbs-Smith's side won an action packed clash with Wimbledon at Braywick Park on Saturday.
Two women with links to Maidenhead and the town’s rugby club lifted the Women’s World Cup with England on Saturday after the Red Roses rounded off a dominant World Cup with a 33-13 win over Canada at Twickenham.
David Mobbs-Smith hopes this weekend’s break will enable some players to return to the side following injury, however the home game with Camberley on October 4 will probably come too soon for forwards Elio Mandozzi and Alex French.

The majority of applications for grants from the Trust are received by post from local and national charities and organisations that are aware of the Trust. The Trust supports all sections of the community in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and actively encourages applications for grants from the Trust.The bulk of donations are made to benefit the elderly and the young, although many other groups including the Arts are also supported.
