Specsavers Windsor re-opens following six-figure refurbishment

10:17PM, Saturday 27 September 2025

Guests have gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the re-opening of Specsavers Windsor, following a six-figure refurbishment.

The locally run and owned business in Peascod Street invested £200,000 in transforming the store to ‘enhance its space for customers and its team’.

The refurbishment includes a newly updated retail frame area, transformed dispensing spaces and a re-decoration of the entire store, including the clinical rooms.

The re-opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by Specsavers co-founder Dame Mary Perkins and Royal Borough mayor Cllr Mandy Brar.

Seema Patel, director of Specsavers Windsor, said: “The whole Specsavers Windsor team is very excited to provide a more welcoming environment for our customers.

“The store is much more spacious and customer-friendly, as it's easier to navigate through the variety of lenses, and the team is delighted with the new equipment and layout.

“This investment marks a significant step in improving our services, and we’re thrilled to welcome our community back into the refreshed space.”
