Signage goes up for new Tapi Carpets at Stafferton Way Retail Park

A new Tapi Carpets store looks set to be moving into the former Hobbycraft unit at Stafferton Way Retail Park.

Store signage for the national retailer has now gone up at the unit, alongside branding stating that a 'new store will be opening soon'.

The unit, located next to Pets at Home, was formerly occupied by Hobbycraft from April 2023 until the store’s closure in September this year.

The national arts and crafts retailer confirmed in August that it would be closing its Maidenhead store ‘as a result of a restructuring within the business’.

A Tapi Carpets store is currently open in Maidenhead High Street and is not yet known whether this store will close or if the new unit at the retail park will be additional.

The company has been contacted for further comment.
