Visitors to a new seasonal exhibition at Maidenhead Heritage Centre in Park Street can take a nostalgic trip down memory lane and see the ‘Toys of Yesteryear’.
The exhibition features toys that are a minimum of 25-years-old, with some dating back to the 1930s and 1940s. All the toys have been loaned by Royal Borough residents, and organisers are hoping to attract people of all ages.
Saneela Hanif of the Heritage Centre, says she expects to often hear the words ‘I had one of those’ and ‘Remember those?’ from visitors.
The display features toys such as teddy bears, dinky toys, toy soldiers, Sindy dolls and Meccano.
The exhibition opened on Friday and will run until January 17.
