GORING Chamber Choir will be singing music from the movies at a concert in May.
Summertime to Skyfall will feature tunes such as Singin’ in the Rain, Moon River, Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Tonight from West Side Story.
The Bare Necessities will be sung in a new arrangement and there will be songs from the musical Cats and the films Toy Story and Shrek. Other pieces include Dancing Queen from Mamma Mia! and Dolly Parton’s Nine to Five.
To mark the date (May the 4th), Steve Bowey will play music from Star Wars on the organ.
The concert will be conducted by musical director, Frances Brewitt-Taylor.
