SIR William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow held its annual golf day at Henley Golf Club in Harpsden in warm sunshine.
This event was sponsored by W H Ireland with many other local businesses supporting it too.
A total lo 84 golfers took part in the day with a shotgun start at 8.30am followed by lunch and prize-giving.
TV presenter Steve Rider presented the prizes to the winning team, 4 Man Barracuda.
Olivier Picard, their captain, praised the course, saying it was in “absolutely splendid” condition.
Henley Golf Club member Erica Brady won the nearest the pin competition for the ladies and Angus Jones for the men.
Event organiser Sally Woolven said: “Given the amount of rain we’ve had recently, we were all very grateful it was a dry, sunny day which showed off our beautiful golf course in the very best light.”
