A HOTEL in Henley will provide complimentary stays for volunteers and “hidden heroes” across the country after partnering with a charity.

The Relais Henley has teamed up with Room to Reward and will donate up to six complimentary room nights a year to volunteers nominated by charities or community groups.

Its sister hotel, the Relais Cooden Beach Hotel and Spa in Bexhill, has also signed up to the scheme, with both launching the offer in December.

The volunteer-recognition charity has donated hotel breaks in unsold rooms at partner hotels to more than 2,500 volunteers across the country.

Chris Cooper, chief operations officer at Relais Retreats, said: “We are more than delighted to be working with Room to Reward and to support the incredible contribution of volunteers and hidden heroes across the UK.

“This initiative allows us to offer moments of recognition, rest and celebration to those who give so much of themselves to others.”

Adam Terpening, charity director at Room to Reward, said: “Partnerships like this are transformative.

“The generosity of Relais Retreats means more of our hidden heroes can enjoy a very rare opportunity to rest, recharge and feel genuinely valued for the extraordinary work they do. Every donated stay makes a real difference.”
