Appeal for marshals

A CHARITY in Wargrave is seeking volunteers to marshal and support runners taking part in this year’s Reading Half Marathon.

Camp Mohawk, a day centre for children and young people in Highfield Lane, needs people to encourage runners taking part on its behalf at its official “cheering point”.

They will also support the safe running of the event, which will be held on Sunday, March 23.

Funds raised by its supporters will go towards the centre, which provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space for children with a variety of special needs.
