LANGTREE School in Woodcote has been honoured for supporting young carers.

The academy in Reading Road has received Oxfordshire County Council’s Young Carers Gold Award for helping pupils who look after relatives at home to achieve their potential.

It was inspected by a team of youngsters who are carers themselves. They interviewed staff and other young carers to find out what help they were receiving.
