RESIDENTS of South Stoke will be taking part in an open gardens day on August 29.

The event runs from 1pm to 6pm and includes teas in the village hall and a flower festival at St Andrew’s Church.

Tickets cost £5 per adult on the day at the village recreation ground, where there is free parking, or the church lych gate. Dogs are not allowed.
