A NEW national campaign by the charity Brake calls on drivers to drive less and live more.

It aims to make roads safer, save people money, make communities more pleasant, protect the environment and improve public health.

Seventy-five per cent of drivers surveyed think people in the UK use their cars too much while air pollution is estimated to kill 52,500 people in the UK each year.

Five deaths and 64 serious injuries happen daily on UK roads, up four per cent on last year.
