CAR enthusiast Ben Stodolnic loves to spot super cars in Henley.

Here, in the latest of his monthly reports, he came across two fine examples of quality engineering.

He says: “I encountered a Ferrari 488 Spyder on the Reading Road on its way towards the town centre.

“I was aghast at the sight of the genius Italian machinery and design. The registered retail price for one of these Ferraris is £203,000.” The Langtree School pupil also found a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing in the showroom at Hofmann’s of Henley.

He added: “They very kindly opened up the doors for me to take this photo. The asking price is near enough £1million. The car is iconic due to the exquisite and original gullwing doors.”
