TWO pedestrians were hit by a car while walking along a pavement in Henley today (Wednesday).
Abe Elliott, 20, and Olivia Bryon-Scott, 20, were walking along Reading Road with their dogs, towards the town centre at about 3pm, when a white Renault Zoe collided with them.
The female driver, who was also travelling towards Henley, also collided with a black Volkswagen Up! which was on the same side of the road.
Eye-witnesses provided ice packs and water to Mr Elliott and Ms Bryon-Scott, who suffered minor injuries, including grazes to their ankles.
The driver, who declined to comment, was offered a chair from a resident.
Thames Valley Police closed the road in both directions and drivers were diverted up St Mark’s Road, while paramedics attended.
The road was re-opened after approximately 30 minutes.
