The body of a woman has been found in water in Wraysbury, believed to be a 31-year-old who has been missing for more than a month.
Thames Valley Police say formal identification of the woman has not yet taken place, but she is believed to be Edna, who had been reported missing more than a month ago.
Edna, aged 31, from Wraysbury, was reported missing on February 1. Police put out appeals to find her and re-released their appeal last week, as she still hadn't been found.
On Sunday (March 8), a body was discovered after a search by police alongside Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey Lowland Search & Rescue. Police believe this was Edna.
"We thank [the search and rescue team] for their hard work," said Thames Valley Police on its TVP Slough Facebook page.
"Edna’s next of kin have been informed [and] a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"Our thoughts remain with Edna’s family at this difficult time."
