Willing solicitors

TWO firms of solicitors have raised £2,045 for charity by drawing up wills for free.

They took part in the Will Aid scheme in which solicitors waive their fees and ask clients to donate to good causes instead.

Cooper Solicitors in West Street, Henley, raised £1,460, and Stefanie O’Brien, of Shirburn Street, Watlington, raised £585.

The proceeds were donated to nine charities, Action Aid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (NI).
