A FARM in Christmas Common has been chosen to host a competition designed to find Downing Street’s 2014 Christmas tree.
More than 100 growers from around the UK will come together at the Tree Barn for the 16th annual event organised by the British Christmas Tree Growers’ Association.
The farm is owned by Andrew Ingram, who has been growing Christmas trees since 1971 and won the competition in 2011 and 2013.
He said: “As a member of the association, we work hard to ensure our trees are exceptionally well-cared for and developed to their full potential.
“This event is a real chance to show off what we do and to compare ourselves with the best in the country.”
