On Friday, February 3 a team of 18 junior pupils from Caversham Prep School took part in an Independent Sporting Association cross-country competition at Sherfield School, near Hook, Hampshire.

With 31 schools taking part and more than 900 pupils racing, it was an exciting experience for everyone. All the Caversham runners did exceptionally well and completed the 1,700m course, which was very muddy and wet.
Deputy headteacher Chris Neal said: “It was very wet and blustery but the children weren’t daunted and tackled the course with great enthusiasm. We are very proud of all their efforts.”
