FASHION lovers can pick up top brands, including Boden, Jigsaw and Reiss, for as little as £8 at the Smart Works Reading fashion sale on March 18. The charity supports unemployed women into employment via its free job interview dressing and preparation service.
Clients are given an interview-ready outfit that is theirs to keep, followed by a one-to-one coaching session to help them excel at their job interview.
Seventy-two per cent of women go on to secure a job within a month of their visit. It costs almost £3,000 a week to run the Smart Works Reading service at full capacity, delivering between 80 to 100+ appointments every month.
The charity’s quarterly fashion sales are one of its primary sources of income.
The ticketed event will be held at the charity’s base in Enterprise House, London Street, from 9.30am to 1pm and tickets costs £5 plus booking fee. Visit https://bit.ly/SWR_spring_sale
All items on sale will be brand new or preloved. Both cash and card payments will be accepted.
