SMART Works Reading, a charity dedicated to empowering unemployed women to achieve success in the workforce, is thrilled to announce its upcoming fashion brunch fundraiser.
Hosted by trustee Patsy Dhir, the event will take place at the stunning Danesfield House Hotel, near Medmenham, on Friday, April 26 from 11.30am to 4pm.
The fashion brunch promises attendees a glamorous day out, featuring a delicious three-course brunch, an exclusive catwalk show featuring independent, female-founded UK brands and engaging discussions on spring/summer 2024 trends.
Attendees will have the opportunity to buy the showcased brands with proceeds benefiting Smart Works Reading.
The ticket includes a gorgeous goody bag and there are some great prizes to be won in the raffle, including a VIP shopping trip to Bicester Village worth more than £800.
The prize includes a £250 Bicester Village gift card, a VIP pass for additional savings, chauffeur service from London (or equivalent), access to the Village’s private suite, the Apartment, and more.
“We’re thrilled to host this fundraiser at Danesfield House,” says Patsy. “Not only will attendees enjoy a day of luxury and style, but they’ll also be supporting a cause that’s close to our hearts, empowering women in our community to achieve their full potential in the workforce.”
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Smart Works Reading, which has supported nearly 2,500 women into employment since 2015.
In light of ongoing challenges stemming from the pandemic and the prevailing cost-of-living crisis, the services provided by Smart Works Reading are more critical than ever in bridging the gap between unemployed women and available job opportunities.
Patsy says: “We’re deeply grateful to Danesfield House Hotel for generously providing us with the venue for this event. Its support enables us to amplify our impact and continue empowering women to secure meaningful employment.”
