THE minibus service in Sonning Common has released its October timetable.
The Fish volunteer centre offers shopping and leisure trips to residents who have difficulty finding their own means of transport.
The bus will visit Tesco in Henley on Monday 6, 13, 20 and 27. There will be a visit to Reading town centre on Tuesday 21. On Thursday 9, there will be a trip to Waitrose in Henley.
On Thursday 23, the bus will visit Henley farmers’ market. On Tuesday 14 and 28, the bus will go to Morrisons and Lidl in Reading with a pick-up time of 10am.
Passengers will be picked up from home at 9am. Each trip costs £4 or is free with a bus pass.
The bus also takes residents on a number of social trips in and around the village and will pick up passengers from home.
These trips are as follows: Sonning Common library for its social mornings on Friday 3, 10, 17 and 24. Pick-up is 10am and return is at noon and is free of charge.
Fish’s drop-in afternoon tea in the village hall on Monday 13 with pick-up from 1.15pm and return at 4pm free of charge.
On Wednesday 15, the bus will make a trip to a pub lunch with pick-up from 1pm. Cost £6.
On Wednesday 24, the bus will visit “Autumn Colours” at Kew Garden. The cost is £10 and admission to the attraction is free. Pick-up is 9.30am and return at 3.30pm.
