Cash boost

GRANTS totalling £900 have been handed to community groups and charities in the Charvil area.

The money was awarded by the parish council at its meeting in July.

Wokingham inclusion charity Me2 Club, which supports children and young people with additional needs, received £300.

The Link Visiting Scheme, which helps older people experiencing loneliness and isolation, and Keep Mobile in Twyford, which provides transport for elderly and disabled people, were also awarded £300 each.
