DID you know that there is a place in Henley to buy reels of cotton and needles?
Probably Henley’s best kept secret, tucked away on Farm Road close to Tesco is Lady Sew and Sew — Europe’s largest patchwork and fabric outlet.
Established in 1980 on Henley Market, before opening a yarn and haberdashery shop in Institute Road, Marlow, Lady Sew and Sew is owned by a local family and sends out mail orders all over the world.
The shop holds regular exhibitions and plays an active part in the Henley Arts Trail, with more than 100 patchwork quilts on display.
In April, Lady Sew and Sew is holding an exhibition featuring work by the Fine Cell Group, who are inmates of HMP Wandsworth.
