VOLUNTEERS are needed to mow the grass in the churchyard at St Mary’s Church in Wargrave.

At present, five teams cut the grass on Saturday mornings on a rota system. Volunteers will need to commit two hours in the morning once every five weeks.

Organiser Bob Austen said: “We offer gentle exercise, pleasant company and the pleasure of seeing our beautiful churchyard looking at its best for the Sunday services.”
