Snowdrop tea

SNOWDROP teas will take place at St Botolph’s Church in Swyncombe this weekend.

The event will take place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, as well as on February 15 and 16 and 22 and 23 from 2pm to 4pm.

There will be homemade cakes and teas, jams and chutneys, books and church souvenirs for sale.

The proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the church, which is more than 1,000 years old.

A special blessing of the snowdrops will take place at 3pm on Sunday and a choral evensong will take place next Sunday at 4.30pm.
