Whitchurch & Goring Heath History Society

THE first meeting of Whitchurch & Goring Heath History Society in 2023 will be on Thursday, January 19 at Whitchurch village hall, starting at 7.30pm (coffee served from 7pm).

Contributions from members will explore, among others, Augustine Knapp, The Grotto on the Thames, and why Whitchurch didn’t “swing” — although one resident’s ancestor nearly did.
