Berkshire Family History Society

THE Reading branch of the Berkshire Family History Society will meet via Zoom on Thursday, September 28 at 7.45pm when we will have a presentation entitled “A grandmother’s legacy: serendipity follows me on my journey”.

Through a short and fascinating glimpse into the lives of my ancestors, we learn more about my journey in the realisation that, with both parents now elderly and frail, the passing of their lives will mark the end of an era for those generations which were part of British-Indian history.

This talk is truly inspiring for anyone who recognises the importance of preserving a family heritage.

It’s also an entertaining presentation in which we discover the ambitious lengths we go to in order to achieve the impossible.

This talk is free to members and we request a donation of £5 from non-members bPre-booking is required because the meeting link will be emailed in advance. Booking ends one day before event. To book, visit https://berksfhs.org/
