ROSEHILL Ladies met on February 7.
As usual, Sue welcomed everyone present.
There will not be a book club meeting this month because Barbara Wood is convalescing after having her second knee replacement.
We hope she will soon be home and leaping around like a two-year old. Well done, Barbara.
After a while spent chatting to each other, we were introduced to our speaker Michael Page who gave a very interesting and often entertaining account of his career with Thames Valley Police.
He recommended that we visit the Police Museum at Sulhampstead. Many people have been there and say that it is well worth a visit.
We then had the usual welcome cup of tea and biscuit before the raffle was drawn.
The lunch club met at Carluccios on February 21.
Our next meeting will be at St Barnabas Church hall on Wednesday, March 6 at 2pm when David Howell will tell us about the history of the church. It sounds interesting, so do come along.
