THE Reading branch of Berkshire Family History Society will meet at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 280 Meadway, Tilehurst RG30 4PE on Thursday, June 27 at 7.45pm (doors open at 7.15pm).
Laurie Page will give a presentation entitled “My Eminent Ancestors”.
He will share details of the branches of his family who were military heroes and Members of Parliament that he discovered. He also came across families with coats of arms.
This is the story of his discovery and the sources used to build their family trees.
This talk is free to members of the society. Non-members are welcome with a suggested donation of £5.
