The Eyot Centre

THE Eyot Centre has been running the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme for the past
14 years and offers bronze, silver and gold expeditions.

We are one of a very few open centres still offering the awards to youngsters and we have a few spaces still available for this year's programme.

Recently, a packed Henley town hall celebrated our last year’s intake awards presentations.

Eighty-nine per cent of the bronze group that started last September have now completed the award. This is way above the national average and we are extremely pleased and proud of them. Our silver and gold groups are progressing well and we look forward to them completing their awards.

The presentations and speeches were given by Mayor Tom Buckley and Henley Rowing Club young Team GB internationals Chloe Hughes and Charlotte Tong, who have just returned from the World U19 Championships with silver and gold medals.
