Recycling your tree

HENLEY Town Council is offering its usual Christmas tree shredding service at Mill Meadows tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 12.30pm.

The cost for shredding is £2 per tree. All proceeds go to Henley in Bloom. Trees can be collected today (Friday) at a cost of £5. Email your name and address to enquiries@henleytown

Christmas trees can also be recycled at a number of places this month. Customers of garden waste services can put out their  trees for collection for composting with their appropriate bin. 

Anyone can use the following drop-off points: the Tree Barn, Christmas Common, and Toad Hall garden centre, Marlow Road, Henley — until January 7; Cow Common car park, The Street, Ewelme — until January 10; Gardiner recreation ground and Rectory Garden, Goring, and Goring Heath parish hall, Whitchurch Hill — until January 12; Recreation ground car park, Wargrave — until January 14; Mapledurham playing fields, Caversham Heights, and Clayfield Copse, Emmer Green — until January 23.
