THE family of a mother-of-two who died suddenly have paid tributes to her. Claire Armitage, 27, was found dead at her home in Farleigh Mews, Caversham Park Village, by her mother. Police have said they are not treating her death as suspicious but her brother has said he believes it was the result of her diabetes condition. Her mother Jane said: “Everyone thinks their daughter is lovely but Claire really was.”

The Henley Festival has been given a fresh image in a bid to attract wider audiences and premium sponsors. The rebranding exercise involves a new logo and website as well as signage at the event. Organisers say they want the annual music and arts festival to be a cool brand while remaining true to its roots as a not-for-profit event.

Two pigs which were abandoned in a field in Checkendon are in need of a new home. The animals were left along with several micro-pigs which have since disappeared. The owner cannot be traced as neither pig has a herd mark. The owner is thought to have dumped them after they grew to their full size.
