A MAN has offered a £500 reward for the successful conviction of a man who indecently exposed himself to his two children near Hambleden Lock on Sunday. He has urged other parents to be on the lookout for the man who committed the offence in front of the four-year-olds. The family were spending the afternoon with friends on the bank of the Thames close to Temple Island when the incident happened.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a Henley newsagents was ram raided in the early hours of Wednesday. The front of Henley News in Greys Road was badly damaged when a car reversed through the front window at 12.20am. Shopkeeper David Bavin, who was woken by the noise, said: “I thought it was just a car crash at first but then I heard glass breaking and realised it had to be the window.”

Henley councillors have hit back at traders and residents who claim there has not been enough consultation about pedestrianisation. Barry Edwards said that anyone who did not know about it “must be dead”. Ken Arlett added: “They have had the chance to have their say. It’s time to move forward.”
