THE Rotary Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh is holding its 13th annual charity art and craft fair at Oakview, Leighton Park School, Reading, this weekend (October 28 and 29).
There will be more than 250 artworks by 70 local artists and 13 craft tables, making it one of the largest functions of its type in the area.
Entry is free and there is an art café run by the Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh.
All the exhibits will be for sale and the artists generously contribute a percentage of the selling price to Rotary charities.
The majority of the money raised will go to Feeding Communities, which helps supply packaged meals throughout the wider Reading area. Last year more than 2,000 meals were distributed from proceeds of the fair.
Other money raised will be used to support more community initiatives.
The Rotary Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh serves the communities in east and south Reading, including Sonning, Wargrave and Twyford. It meets every Tuesday evening at various locations.
