Survey ordered to find cause of pond’s falling water levels

A FEW weeks ago Amelia Archer, of the JDO Foundation, an educational charity, gave us an inspiring talk about work that she was doing supporting a school in Zambia.
The club decided to donate £1,000 directly to the school.
We are pleased to say that within days of receipt of the funds the money was put to use changing the lives of three children.
A brilliant result, led by Macolm Sandham, our community service lead, which makes us all proud to be members of the cub.
The donation is made possible by the generosity of the public who donate at our fundraising events.
Our next event is the Pangbourne Art Exhibition and sale at the village hall on Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21 from 10am with a preview on the Friday from 6pm to 9pm. Lights refreshments will be available.
Children from Englefield, Pangbourne, Whitchurch and Birch Copse Primary Schools will be showing their art in the small hall. The event is in aid of Bridge for Young People in Thatcham, which provides a home and support to young people (aged 16 to 25) who are leaving care or are homeless.
