Pub shut for refurbishment

THE Greyhound in Whitchurch has been closed for refurbishment.

Oak Taverns, of Thame, which owns the pub in High Street, says it plans to carry out “minor” improvements before re-opening the premises later this month.

The pub will then operate as a free house for the first time in its recent history under new landlord Jason Walls.

It was previously owned by Punch Pubs & Co.
