Support and warm spaces

SUPPORT, advice and warm spaces in Henley are available daily.

The d:two café in Market Place is open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday. On Tuesdays there is a Ukrainian lunch club from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and on Sundays there is a church service from 10am to 12.30pm.

The d:two family centre is open on Mondays from 9.15am to 11.30am and on Saturdays there is a “dads’ breakfast” from 9.30am to 11.30am.

The 60+Club in Greys Road car park is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm.

Christ Church in Reading Road is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. The Frogs baby and toddler group meets on Tuesdays from 10am to noon in term time only. A lunch which is open to everyone takes place on Thursdays from noon and a coffee morning on Fridays at 10.30am.

St Mary’s Church in Hart Street offers a warm space on Thursdays from 9am to 5pm, with coffee served after the 10am service and on Sundays after the 9.30am service until 5pm.

The church is also open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and on Wednesdays for a baby and toddler group from 10am to 11.30am.

At Holy Trinity Church in Greys Hill, a Henley College student lunch is held on Thursdays from 1pm to 2pm.

On Fridays during term time, two music sessions followed by free play for preschoolers are held from 9.15am to 10.30am and 10.45am to noon.

A families session for children at primary school and their carers is held from 4.30pm to 6pm and a Friday night youth group takes place from 7.30pm to 9pm for years 6 to 8 and 7.15pm to 9.15pm for years 9 and above.

On Sundays there are two services at 10.30am and 4pm.

Henley library in Ravenscroft Road is open on Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 8pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 5.30pm, on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 4.30pm.

The Information Centre at the town hall is open on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm  and on Saturdays from 10am to noon (4pm from April).

Henley Citizens Advice in Market Place is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.

In Shiplake, the Church of St Peter and St Paul is open as a warm space from 11am to 1.30pm every Monday.
