New village sign

A new village sign will be unveiled in Russell’s Water.

The old sign was blown down in a storm and the new one has been designed and the old signpost refurbished. The unveiling will take place by the pond in the centre of the village.

Chitty Bang Bang will be there and there will be a bar in the hall selling soft drinks and alcohol with a film show in the hall afterwards.

The sign and refurbishment work has been paid for by donations by community.

The name of one those who donated will be chosen at random to unveil the new sign.
