A SPORTS car built from an RAF Benson helicopter has been sold for £66,000 at auction.

The Caterham 360R was created by Caterham Cars after the base provided an out of service Puma HC2.

It was sold at auction on Saturday by auctioneers Collecting Cars. The money will be dived between Mission Motorsport and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
