THE latest postbox topper knitted by the Henley Women’s Institute caught the attention of Olivia Harrison.

The crochet topper in Hart Street features four knitted figures of the Beatles in Sgt Pepper costumes, including guitarist George Harrison, who would have celebrated his birthday on Tuesday this week.

Olivia, who was married to George until his death in 2001 and still lives in their home at Friar Park, shared a picture of the topper on her Instagram with a caption reading: “To the crochet ladies of Henley on Thames, thank you for making me smile as I passed your birthday wish on my walk to town.”
