Walk for disabled
A SPONSORED walk for people with learning difficulties and their families is to take place in Henley.
The event has been organised by Mencap to mark Learning Disability Awareness Week.
The walkers will set off from the Mill Meadows car park at 1.30pm on Thursday, June 19 and follow a three-mile route going towards Temple Island and back again.
Anyone is welcome to join the walk, which will be followed by a prize-giving event at Henley town hall where there will be stalls with information about Mencap and learning disabilities.
