Signs with new limit

NEW speed limit signs are being installed in Sonning Common.

The parish council’s application for a blanket 20mph speed limit in the village was approved by Oxfordshire County Council, the highways authority, in November.

The new signs are being paid for and installed by the county council.

The county council’s 20 is Plenty scheme offers parish and town councils the opportunity to apply to lower 30mph limits in order to improve road saftey.
