A TIMBER assault course could be installed at Wargrave recreation ground.

The parish council plans to buy equipment including a climbing wall to go around the field off Recreation Road after seeing a similar facility in Ruscombe.

In June the playground at the recreation ground was refurbished with new equipment including a zipwire and swing. The assault course would be for older children.

Councillor Marion Pope said: “It’s for the youth of the village and for fitness.”
