THIS year’s Living Advent Calendar raised a total of £10,809.90.

The event, which ran over 24 evenings in December in venues across the town, supported charities including Royal British Legion, Nomad Youth and Community Project and Riverside Counselling Service.

It was the first year the event had been organised by Henley Town Council, which took over operations from Richard Rodway, who organised the event for 10 years.
