A MOTHER has called for the Henley skate park to be closed completely after her young son broke out in a rash from playing on the ramps.
Kelly Goodall, 38, took four-year-old Bailey, her other son Bradley, 11, and six-year-old Leon Hutton, a friend’s son, to the park in Makins Road recreation ground on Sunday lunchtime.
But their visit turned sour after Bailey began itching soon after clambering up the fibreglass ramps and then sliding down them.
Miss Goodall, of High Street, Nettlebed, blamed fragments of fibreglass which she saw on his hands and clothes.
She said: “All afternoon and evening he was itching with this rash on his stomach — it’s fibreglass and my boy has asthma.”
