Police hunt for suspects in Langley attempted burglary investigation

Archive police image.

Officers arrested a man in connection with the theft of cosmetics from a local supermarket towards the end of last week.

The suspect attempted to conceal more than £200's worth of beauty products before making a 'less than glamorous' getaway.

Writing on the TVP Windsor and Maidenhead Facebook page, Thames Valley Police's - Maidenhead Neighbourhood Team wrote:

"Unfortunately for him, he doesn’t quite blend in. Well known to the local neighbourhood team, he was spotted today and swiftly arrested.

"He’ll now be given the opportunity to make-up for what he’s done — though we suspect his next appointment won’t be at the beauty counter.

"Crime doesn’t pay, but it does come with a court date and a face-to-face with the judge — no filter."
