BALLET Theatre UK is back at the Kenton Theatre next month, this time with Tchaikovsky’s Christmas favourite, The Nutcracker.
The innovative British ballet group is fast gaining a reputation for breathing new life into traditional stories.
Last December they staged A Christmas Carol and earlier this year they were back at the Kenton with Alice In Wonderland. The company, set up by artistic director Christopher Moore, is planning new pieces for 2014.
They are currently on tour with The Nutcracker, performing in 38 venues throughout Britain, and coming to the Kenton on Sunday, December 8.
Some of the best known pieces of music from this ballet are The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy and The Waltz Of The Flowers. The ballet company has been so popular with Henley’s theatre-goers that both performances have almost sold out already.
