HENLEY Rotary Club’s darts team has been crowned district champions for the first time in seven years.

Club captain Sam Lamden, Will Busher, John Grout and David Cumming took the 1090 district league title after beating Gerrards Cross.

They were 3-1 down in a seven leg final, but pulled it back to win 4-3.

They last won the honour in 2008 and were runners-up three times before their latest success.

Mr Lamden said: “We feel quite chuffed.”
