SALISBURY B closed in on the Henley and District Darts League title on Tuesday after defeating Hare and Hounds B 17-4. Second placed The Bird ran out 16-5 winners at Butchers.

Elsewhere, Hare and Hounds A edged out Salisbury A 11-10, Saracens beat Salisbury C 12-9 while Three Horseshoes defeated Nettlebed 12-9.

The latest league standings are as follows: 1 Salisbury B, played 17, 258 points; 2 The Bird, 16, 222; 3 The Saracens, 17, 213; 4 Salisbury A, 17, 175; 5 Hare and Hounds A, 16, 174; 6 Nettlebed, 17, 171; 7 Three Horseshoes, 16, 167; 8 Hare and Hounds B, 14, 125; 9 Salisbury C, 16, 107; 10 The Butchers, 16, 93.
