THE Piggott School sixth form offers outstanding opportunities for students seeking to either study for A levels or more vocational courses. A levels have been consistently strong in recent years in traditional “academic” subjects like maths, sciences, English and the humanities, while excellent outcomes are also achieved every year in the arts, languages, business and social sciences. Highly successful BTEC courses and VRQ coaching are also available for students who wish to take a more vocational route.

Students also develop leadership skills and transferrable skills much sought after by employers — including initiative, teamwork, communication and independence.

In 2012 they completed their new sixth form learning area equipped with eight classrooms and 140 computers. They look forward to welcoming you to their next open evening.
